(STATS) - The success of players such as Jimmy Garoppolo, Carson Wentz, Cooper Kupp, David Johnson, Tarik Cohen and Darius Leonard emphasizes the potential draft value in the FCS.

The "small school" label gets forgotten if a player can help a team.

This year, the draft prospects in the FCS are strong again, beginning with Alabama State offensive tackle Tytus Howard being selected in the first round Thursday night.



Thursday, April 25

Houston Texans (Round 1, 23 overall) - Tytus Howard, Alabama State, OT, 6-5, 322: Highest draft pick in school history is a athletic tackle with quickness and fluidity.

Friday, April 26

Los Angeles Chargers (2, 60) - Nasir Adderley, Delaware, FS, 6-0, 203: Outstanding range and physical ball skills cousin to Pro Football Hall of Famer Herb Adderley to play all over the Delaware secondary.

Kansas City Chiefs (3, 84) - Khalen Saunders, Western Illinois, DT, 6-0, 324: Three-technique tackle is quick to separate from blocks and get into opposing backfields.

Jacksonville Jaguars (3, 98) - Quincy Williams, Murray State, SS, 5-10½, 225: Potential hybrid linebacker is an aggressive defender and the brother of New York Jets first-round pick Quinnen Williams

Saturday, April 27

Los Angeles Chargers (5, 166) - Easton Stick, North Dakota State, QB, 6-1, 220: Played in a pro-style offense while setting the FCS quarterbacks record with 49 career wins.

Cleveland Browns (6, 189) - Drew Forbes, Southeast Missouri, OG, 6-5, 308: Consistent, durable lineman made a late rise up draft rankings.

Minnesota Vikings (6, 193) - Oli Udoh, Elon, OT, 6-5, 323: Excellent at finishing plays with his size and length.

Cincinnati Bengals (7, 223) - Jordan Brown, South Dakota State, CB, 6-0, 201: Cover corner who moves well for his size.

Buffalo Bills (7, 225) - Darryl Johnson Jr., North Carolina A&T, DE, 6-6, 253: The three players who preceded Johnson as MEAC defensive player of the year are in the NFL.

Washington Redskins (7, 227) - Jimmy Moreland, James Madison, CB, 5-10, 179: Set James Madison career records with 18 interceptions and six pick-sixes.

Oakland Raiders (7, 230) - Quinton Bell, Prairie View A&M, OLB, 6-4, 220: Workout wonder flashed exceptional speed at defensive end as senior after being a wide receiver for three seasons.

New Orleans Saints (7, 244) - Kaden Elliss, Idaho, OLB, 6-2, 238: Athletic son of former NFL defensive tackle Luther Elliss was a late riser after testing well in the draft buildup.

Arizona Cardinals (7, 248) - Joshua Miles, Morgan State, OG, 6-5, 314: Raw talent who has moldable skill set.
